Seclusion Hill

Meherazad Road, India / March 2006

On the road leading to Meherazad, I sat in the dusty leaves between two huge Banyan Trees painting the field of Millet (Jawaar) and Seclusion Hill behind it. Meher Baba stayed in seclusion in a makeshift hut for many days on the hill. A village girl tended her goats calling to a mischievous one named Chimmey and then held him still by his horns so I could paint him.
